Rent A Device Hilotherapy is the ideal way to reduce pain and swelling either following injury, whilst awaiting surgery or to enhance recovery following surgery. Often the treatment will only be needed for a short period of time making device rental the perfect solution. For those suffering from long term conditions such as arthritis, persistent joint swelling and pain, the rental service offers a good option to 'try before you buy' or to help you relieve pain and recover faster in times of flair up.
Our 'HomeCare' device is portable, easy to use and ideal for use in the home or office. As the temperature is regulated (unlike ice and traditional forms of cooling) the treatment can be used for as long as desired, with many people post-operatively using almost continuously in their first few days at home.
The feedback we receive from our home rental patients is exceptional, whatever the reason they are using the treatment.
The HomeCare device uses distilled water (provided) and an internal cooling unit rather than ice packs. This means that once the temperature has been set the device can run for long periods of time without intervention. The temperature range is 15º-22º. The device is available to rent for $90 for 1 week or $150 for 2 weeks plus $30 cleaning fee, $90 refundable deposit and freight.
Although our larger Clinic devices are available on a quarterly rental basis, these devices are intended primarily for use in hospitals and clinics. Payment can be made either by credit/debit card over the telephone (0800 47 37 69) or by bank transfer (please contact us to request details). We can also take all delivery/contact details over the telephone or you can complete a rental form online.
Cancellation Rentals may be cancelled free of charge up until 1pm the day before the device is due to be delivered e.g. before 1pm on Tuesday if your delivery is booked for Wednesday. Please note: if you have arranged a Monday delivery and would like to cancel your rental, you will need to inform us before 1pm on the previous Friday. Extension of rental period If the rented equipment is not returned to us on or before the end date and time, you agree to pay us an additional $90.00 per week or part week up to the date of return.
Damage deposit A deposit of $90.00 is payable in advance and will be refunded on return of the equipment free from damage, together with all the accessories supplied. Missing accessories will be charged as follows: Travel Bag - $149, blue connecting hose - $149, power cable - $40. In the event of total loss or non-return of the rented equipment, you agree to pay us an amount equivalent to the market value of the equipment ($3499+GST) less the total charge for the rental and the damage deposit. Items are tracked to prevent any loss.
